The Illinois Rural Health Workshop is a joint program between University of Illinois Extension and the Illinois Health Education Consortium/AHEC working with rural communities in Illinois through the development and provision of economic information about the local health care sector.

The goal of the program is to help community members realize the economic importance of their local health care sectors and to provide information that supports community health planning efforts.
